Overnight precipitation and plummeting temperatures Wednesday morning have left ice on portions of Interstate 10 , leading to their closure. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development had closed the following sections of I-10 as of 6 a.m. Wednesday: - I-10 from U.S. Highway 51 in LaPlace all the way to the Oak Harbor exit in Slidell, in both directions.
