Edmond school officials say graffiti found on a bathroom wall that read "Im gonna kill you all" was not a credible threat at Edmond Memorial High School. Due to a broken pipe that caused flooding in the lower commons and cafeteria, students were kept in their classrooms to eat lunch, which then caused confusion as some students thought they were sheltering in place due to the graffiti found.

Oklahoma Says Farmowners Insurance Program Insurer, Rockingham, not Licensed

The Oklahoma Insurance Department says a farmowners insurance program being advertised in Oklahoma is not valid because the insurer, Rockingham Casualty, is not licensed to operate in the state. In early January, Rockingham Casualty and Edmond, Oklahoma-based FarmAssure LLC announced they had teamed up to offer a farmowners insurance program in Oklahoma.

Proposal hotel site causing backlash in Edmond neighborhood

Developers have submitted a proposed land zoning change for the possible future site of two hotels, causing some backlash from nearby residents. Tapp Development Companies has filed a proposal with the city of Edmond to change a plot of land on the northwest corner of Fox Lake Lane and I-35 to a Planned Unit Development , according to their attorney Randel Shadid.
